endometriosis

The first step is obtaining a prior diagnosis from a specialist in order to assess the level of disease, age and medical history of the patient. At Eva Fertility Clinics the first consultation is always free.

Fertility treatments  are adapted to each patient

  • In young women aged between 30-35 years old which are affected by early endometriosis (stages I and II) and the ones with permeable fallopian tubes, the required treatment is Artificial Insemination.
  • On the other hand, in cases of moderate and severe endometriosis (stages III and IV) fertility levels are quite low and the appropriate treatment is IVF. It is the treatment that provides more possibilities to women affected by this disease and offers higher success rates.

Egg freezing as a preventive option

  • Since endometriosis can damage woman’s fertility by reducing the ovarian capacity at an early stage or after a surgery to treat the disease, the Egg freezing is a recommended option for women in fertile age.
